Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ru-llm (the "Service"), an LLM gateway operated by ru-llm ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. This document is a template and is not legal advice.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any policies referenced here. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

ru-llm is a proxy and gateway that forwards your requests to third-party large language model providers through an OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible API. We do not own or control the upstream models and are not responsible for their output. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. Availability, latency, model selection, and pricing may change at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Accounts and API Keys

You authenticate using an email address and password and may generate API keys to access the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for all activity and all charges incurred under your account and API keys, whether or not authorized by you. Notify us immediately at support@ru-llm.ai if you suspect unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses resulting from compromised credentials.

4. Prepaid Balance and Billing

The Service operates on a prepaid USD balance. You top up your balance via supported crypto payment methods, including USDT. Usage is billed per token consumed at the rates shown for each model, and charges are deducted from your balance. Top-ups are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. Tokens that have already been consumed are non-refundable and are not subject to chargeback. If your balance reaches zero, requests may be rejected until you top up again.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate, transmit, or store content that is illegal or that violates the rights of others. You must comply with the usage policies of the upstream model providers your requests are routed to, as well as all applicable laws of the Russian Federation and any other jurisdiction that applies to you. You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits or billing, probe or disrupt the Service, or resell access in violation of these Terms. We may suspend access for suspected abuse.

6. Content and Data

You retain ownership of the inputs you submit and the outputs you receive through the Service. To provide the Service, your requests are forwarded to the relevant upstream providers, whose handling of your data is governed by their own terms and policies. We do not use your inputs or outputs to train our own models. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit your inputs and for your use of the outputs.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that model outputs will be accurate, reliable, or suitable for any purpose, and you use them at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ru-llm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Any remaining balance may be handled in accordance with applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of [jurisdiction], unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable law.
